Let us look to Joseph, instead of to any media portrayal. Joseph in many ways was the model father, both for young Jesus, and for young fathers today. Today’s reading (and our feature on Joseph on Christmas Eve) subtly demonstrates why God choose Joseph as Jesus’s earthly father.
