Epiphany is a Christian feast day that celebrates the revelation of God the Son as a human being in Jesus Christ. The celebration principally commemorates the visit of the Magi to Baby Jesus, which is Jesus' physical manifestation to the Gentiles. (Eastern Christians also commemorate the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River, seen as his revelation to the world as the Son of God, as well as the Miracle at Cana of turning water to wine.)
